Nothing like a good war to perk up the economy. Maybe McCain would wish us to pay for a hundred years of free service for them also. </div></div>
You always seem to have all the answers. Why don't you run for president?

Re: Oil Crisis Over
I got back home much earlier than expected. I can't say I am surprised that nobody has posted an actual B. HUSSEIN position. Hard to explain what does not exist.

Re: Oil Crisis Over
Sir, maybe it's because the members of this board just don't give you the time of day? If I really thought you were serious and would engage in an intellectual argument I would post Mr. Obama's positions for you.

B. HUSSEIN Obama has come up with the solution to our current energy crisis.
It seems that all we have to do is properly inflate our tires and keep our vehicles tuned up. He made the statement that we can save more oil than would be produced by increased offshore drilling simply by keeping proper tire pressure. And we can save that much again by keeping our vehicles tuned up. WOW. What a "leader". If we turn off the lights in Duffield we may be able
to stop importing oil all together.
Go ahead and vote for him. But don't come around crying later. </div></div>
Just like Mccain. Criticizing something that is proven that it works.

Re: Oil Crisis Over
You would have nothing to post unless it was something you have made up. To date there is not one single issue that Mr. B. Hussein has taken a FIRM position on. Not one. Every time he has come slightly close to doing that he has changed his stance.
And the ignorant statement that B. HUSSEIN made was that proper tire pressure would save as much oil as we could retrieve from offshore drilling. Surely you are not going to defend such a statement.
-
Re: Oil Crisis Over
I'd rather vote for someone that I didn't know exactly where they stand on issues than vote for someone that I disagree with where they stand on issues.
-
Re: Oil Crisis Over
He said that inflating your tires to the proper amount AND a proper tune up would do that, which it is a proven fact that it WOULD. Your precious McSame agrees with it, he even said so. He ridiculed it and then said it was right? Oh I totally agree with what my opponent says, but he's still wrong to say it.
According to the Energy Information Administration, if Congress lifted the moratorium on offshore drilling, by 2030, oil crude production in the "lower-48? outer continental shelf will increase by about 200,000 barrels per day. By contrast, the production offset based on Obama's proposal will likely approach 800,000 barrels per day, immediately.
Not so stupid, now is it?

Re: Oil Crisis Over
His statement was that inflating tires would save as much as we would gain by the drilling and a tune up would save that much again. The last estimates I saw has the US with the largest oil deposits in the world. Unfortunately the last Democratic President put them off limits for drilling.
B. HUSSEIN was strongly against the "failed Bush energy policy". But he took that position AFTER he voted FOR it.
B. HUSSEIN was for partial birth abortion. Then he was slightly against it. Now he won't say one way or the other.
B. HUSSEIN was against the recent tax rebates. To be honest so was I. But now he is in favor of an "energy rebate" in the form of a windfall profits tax on the oil companies. Does he really believe that tax won't be passed on to the consumer in the form of higher prices at the pump?
B. HUSSEIN took a stance on the Russian invasion of Georgia. In the past few days he has taken 2 other positions on the same issue.
The B. HUSSEIN camp has issued 6 completely different statements on his refusal to visit our wounded troops during his FOREIGN campain tour.
B. HUSSEIN came out in favor of a tax increase for the top 1 percent of income earners. Then it was the top 2 percent. Now it is up to the top 5 percent. The target seems to be moving.
B. HUSSEIN issued a very strong statement saying that he had NEVER been a Muslim. NEVER. Now that the truth came out he said he didn't think that far back should count.
Some VERY prominent members of the Democratic party have said that B. HUSSEIN lacks experience and was NOT ready to lead. I thought that was a no brainer.
If you would do a brief study on Socialism you would find some very disturbing similarities in some of the things B. HUSSEIN believes in.

Re: Oil Crisis Over
And so Mccain takes a firm position?
"I believe that success will be fairly easy."[CNN,9/24/02]
"We will win this conflict. We will win it easily."[MSNBC, 1/22/03]
"I believe that we can win an overwhelming victory in a short very period of time."[CNN, 9/29/02]
"We're not going to get into house-to-house fighting in Baghdad. We may have to take out buildings, but we're not going to have a bloodletting of trading American bodies for Iraqi bodies."[CNN, 9/29/02]
"It was easy, it was easy, I said the military operation would be easy."[MSNBC, 1/10/07]
But wait....
"The American people...were lead to believe that this would be some kind of day at the beach, which many of us, uh, fully understood from the beginning would be a very, very difficult undertaking." [CNN, 8/22/06]
"I knew it was going to be long and hard and tough. And those that voted for it and thought that somehow it was going to be some kind of easy task, then I'm sorry they were mistaken. Maybe they didn't know what they were voting for."[MSNBC, 1/4/07]
Theres some of that straight talk that America deserves, as he says. You and these other "highly intelligent" ones that are constantly bashing Obama about flip-flopping and saying he can't make up his mind still defend someone who is the definition of all the above.

100% right but of course he will try and defend the idiot
